Alright, I hope I didn't mess this up... I put the pots inside of another pot with more soil to give the plants a little more room to grow. Hopefully the small 2 inch opening is enough to give them what they need. Could someone please verify that what i did is alright before it is too late...

Thanks for all the help guys! They are currently planted in clay pots that have a 2 inch diameter hole in the bottom with substantial root mass hanging out. Is this hole large enough to solve my problem if i just plant the whole pot into a larger one with more soil?? Also, do you all think...
