    True HP Aero For 2011

lol...In the land of the great redwoods live many skilled and fearless tree climbers...yeah just climbing near the top of a tree installing a tank to the side 55 gallon drum from instance (used by guerrilla grows mostly for watering crops on uneven/uphill terrain) and then run a line down 100...

    True HP Aero For 2011

yeah I still have a bunch of pex and related stuff from a remodel so maybe i'll dig that out and try to incorporate it into system...Might not be HPA yet but I'll get there... I saw some guy was using a hand pump to pressurize a huge acc on another site...anyone tried gaining the pressure...

    True HP Aero For 2011

Sorry about the repeats...I think I'm just reading it too fast and not letting it soak in unless it relates to the idea in my head. Maybe I'll just print it out and try to read it without the distraction of the web.. They do make the 1/4"...they even go down to 1/8". Really those are just...

    True HP Aero For 2011

I guess I should have qualified "pump pro's". one was the guy at the pump shop (residential/commercial not high-tolerance industrial) and the other was a retired pump installer/tech at the hydro store in town. Nice guy but not to fond of aero... I'm working through an idea that I think could...

    True HP Aero For 2011

So I asked around locally and got schooled by some old-time pump pro's. They loved the pump...but not for the short run times needed for HPA. They said I would need to run the pump for at least 2 minutes for it to cool itself, and that a pressure tank sized to my pump would run me over $500...

AeroJunkie's High Pressure Air-Assisted Hydro-Atomized Aeroponic System (HPAAHAAS)

Not too bad...I used to to data entry work so I've learned to do repeatable processes like that and think about other things

AeroJunkie's High Pressure Air-Assisted Hydro-Atomized Aeroponic System (HPAAHAAS)

OK. That was 23 & 24, in the hope of keeping the thread in order I'll wait until someone comes up with a cached page of 25 before I post page 26

AeroJunkie's High Pressure Air-Assisted Hydro-Atomized Aeroponic System (HPAAHAAS)

Hey Trichy...I actually found a way to recycle the nutes without huge ppm or ph swings....yes you do still have to change the res, but only every 2-3level weeks...with occasional topping off. Petflora has it right with inline filters, but constant res filtration is the key. I use...

AeroJunkie's High Pressure Air-Assisted Hydro-Atomized Aeroponic System (HPAAHAAS)

No worries, it's always fun to watch another person get interested in this. It's actually not so new of a way to grow either, the problem is the right information is rarely out there, so not many people do it, or continue with it if they try.

AeroJunkie's High Pressure Air-Assisted Hydro-Atomized Aeroponic System (HPAAHAAS)

Because of the control we want, and the tiny orifices of the nozzles, it seems best to use non-organic nutes for this. Therefore we need no microbes to break down the nutes and can also sterilize our solutions to keep the nasties away. Less saltier brands are desired as the...

AeroJunkie's High Pressure Air-Assisted Hydro-Atomized Aeroponic System (HPAAHAAS)

So if the droplets or mist is tiny are guys able to use bigger types of organic nutes or are the nutes more synthetic or salt based? I hope that question made sense. Also are u guys able to keep a subculture in this type of set up to break down raw nutrients? Sorry if that Sounds...

AeroJunkie's High Pressure Air-Assisted Hydro-Atomized Aeroponic System (HPAAHAAS)

This may clarify (I think): HPA is about efficiency and economy. The more efficient the feeding method, the faster the growth, but that is an over simplification. The harder roots have to work to feed the plant (soil) the slower the growth, plus the least amount of grower...

AeroJunkie's High Pressure Air-Assisted Hydro-Atomized Aeroponic System (HPAAHAAS)

haha cool man... If you are interested, I also have a thread which has a summary of the ideas and concepts in the first few posts. It's in my sig. Basically you can either pressurize the water- (hydraulic) or have it mix with compressed air (atomized aero). Aerojunkie here is...
