You're going to need alot of coverage, one which cannot be satisfied by a 600W HPS. Try splitting into 4x250W or 3x400W or 2x600W. As for LEDs, you'd be needing at least 500W real drain, split into several spots. And seek known led-chip brands: OSRAM, Philips, LedEngin or Cree.

2 or 4 T5 HO for side-penetration. The results would weight more with those on. And go for a SCROG mate! Cheers!

Neutral white is excellent for seedlings in their first week after sprouting. T5 HO are the best neon lights, but you T8s will do the job.
