Yeah I figured trial and error was the best way, thats why I didn't top all of them at the same time. Try a few different things and see what works.

thanks for the tips and the link, I'll check it out now. What do you recommend doing with one thats been topped? Should I try fimming the branches that are pulled down? Or just cut off the new node on a branch? will that make it split into 2

another week and a half on and the babies are looking good. The first pic is an unknown strain. The second pic shows all of them. Ones on the left are SLH and about a week behind the others. The third pic is a SLH that had been topped so its a bit bushier than the fourth pic which hasn't been.

The set up is at my mates place. He lives in the bush so no worries there, I'll be setting up a spot at home to start the veg then take them up there. He also has a 5kw solar system so power isn't an issue for all those lights.:hump:
