Stick to that limit because it's set by the manufacturer based on the amount of heat the fixture can sustain, and as a grower you'll be stretching the limits of that heat especially during the veg when you're keeping lights on for 18 hours or even more at a time.

That is the kind I want though, i want one that plugs right into the wall, (North American plugs) because I hate wiring it all myself, makes me nervous of a fire, and I don't live alone so a fire would really suck.

But isn't the one you posted an E40? The bulbs (which I'm still deciding on, you're right more smaller bulbs could be a better set up for getting light all around the plant, instead of LSTing the hell out of it over and over again) I was thinking of using were listed as Medium E26 socket bulbs...
