I have an enclosed room also and opted to use a portable. I initially thought my unit was crap [Haier] but it turns out I needed to attach a blower to the AC exhaust. Hope that helps AC exhaust -> hose -> blower -> carbon filter

What we do is not legal. Remember that. I'd recommend the carbon filter. :)

Caution: MAKE SURE YOU DILUTE THE MOLASSES!!! I killed two plants in late December because put waaaaay too much in the res tank :( I was able to take cuts before my girls died :)
