I have been hang drying my buds for 4 days now they are dry and brittle the stem is still bending thou and my buds dont smell good at all smells really green any help will curing solve this problem?

I had spider mites early in veg got rid of them (i thought) now 2 1/2 weeks into flower there back how can i get rid of them without effecting the buds. thank for any help.
