here's another one from 3 hours ago. I just got a new camera today (my old one quit working... I left it next to my magnetic ballast last night... I think that has something to do with it) and I fired off a bunch of shots.

Here's my blackjack grow. I've been posting pics in this thread showing its progress over the weeks. I just started week 6. The "swell" is certainly under way. Blackjacks are listed as a 9 to 11 wk grow. This one definitely appears to be an early finisher... maybe 8-9 wks.

upon further inspection... the pH of the runoff of the other 5 plants was about 6.4-6.5. I'm betting there were some solids on the bottom of that particular tray that dissolved, giving me a higher ph reading. anyway... all is great. thanks everyone.

oh that hydroton was rinsed... handful by handful. When I first started growing (a few years ago) I ran into deficiencies and overdoses. I know what they look like. I don't see any problems on my plants. I'm just more curious about tweaking and adjusting things to make a perfect crop.

currently they are getting 7.5 ml floranova bloom, 1 ml floralicious+, 5 ml CaMg+, 5 ml liquid koolbloom, and 10 ml floranectar (and 2 ml ph up = 5.9)... I do this every three days.

it depends on what type of hermi you have. If you have a "ball" (genetic) hermi... I'd get rid of it pretty quick. If you have a "banana" (stress induced) hermi I would just pluck off the bananas. the balls will spread pollen very easily. the bananas will just pollinate their local area...
