What the hell is doing this to my babies !!!!!

Yep, spider mites. Believe me I know! Many good insecticidal soaps formulas on this site. Also try a "Hot Shot" pest strip. I've been using them for a month now and it really helped.

    are these ready? pics

Being one that battled mites, I think it may be a mite problem. Go to Radio Shack and get a handheld microscope. They cost about $15 and will help you greatly in seeing the trichs and looking for pests also.

Overcalculated on harvest should I resume nutes?

When you say; "the trichromes need to be under 50%" Do you mean under 50% amber or cloudy? I definitely want to bring out the cerebral sativa high and avoid the "couch syndrome" in this batch. Thanks

My highest reccomendation for this inexpensive unit,ZERO SMELL & cheap.

I think it is interesting that the link for the item (very beginning of thread) says; "O3 doesn't just mask odors; it removes them and then harmlessly converts into CO2 and oxygen". Hmmmm, CO2,,, wonder if the CO2 can be recycled into the grow room for plant growth? Just a thought.

Molasses? What is it? where can you buy it?

When should the molasses be discontinued? Same as the nutes I presume, a week before harvest? 1st grow and I didn't use it this time. I'm ready to harvest in 1 or 2 weeks but discontinued nutes a week ago (jumped the gun). I'm going to resume feeding and stop in 5 to 7 days (watching the...

Overcalculated on harvest should I resume nutes?

Growing Jack Herrer (Jock Horror) in a coco mix. My first grow. I think I have some time to go since my trichnones are still either clear or milky (mostly clear) and none are amber yet. I may have overreacted with my calculated harvest time. I don't want to harvest too early.I stopped all...

Spider Mites and 1 week from harvest HELP!

I bought some Fungicide3 also but think I am going to go with the tobacco steep Seamaiden mentioned. I've been using something like this on my apple tree and it worked rather well. I think I have some time to go since my trichnones are still either clear or milky, none are amber yet. I may...

Spider Mites and 1 week from harvest HELP!

Yeah joebuck, spider mites suck. I have the two spotted variety. The infestation isn't that bad but they are still there and it grosses me out! I've done a light spraying with an insecticidal soap and then a through drying using multiple fans. I then gently vacuumed the buds with one of those...

Spider Mites and 1 week from harvest HELP!

I've been battling mites off and on and am about a week from harvest and they are back! I need some input as to what to do so close to harvest. I don't want to use predators (such as lady bugs) since they wouldn't be here in time and my wife would flip out. I need to know what to do to avoid...

Butane extraction method - wet or dry?

This is off topic but how about the bubble bucket method? Can the buds and leaves can be wet then?

I'm afraid these are males. (PICS) Input please

Totally bummed. As you can see by the pollen sacs, my first two plants are males. The best I could hope here for is a hermie but it doesn't look that way either. These were my "flagship" plants. I have 4 more that I will be putting into flower in a week and am hoping for better luck. Does...

    My improved DIY carbon filter

What type of fan are you using? It must be a squirrel cage or on of the better vortex in-line fans I guess. I tried to make one using activated carbon but my 250 CFM duct fan was hardly pulling anything through.

Water Cooled Lights! Liquid Lumens! Fresca Sol!

Nope. Cool Tubes are pyrex tubes with the HID contained inside. A fan vents air through the pyrex tube thus cooling the HID and ventilating the hot air out of the grow room. East to make and they work quite well!. The 4th post in this thread shows one (Al B. Fucts second post). That's just...
