First outdoor grow, first plant to be chopped (pics)

I'm just a "semi-amateur" with just 4 years of outdoor and 1 year of indoor experience, and each year/grow with about half a pound to 2 pounds.... But I think that plant could be good for 8 oz or so. I think it's roughly around the size of my better plants this year, though mine are topped and...

    Harvest Time: A Tutorial

The hero gives his life, so that others may live. :) I've found that I can't distinguish clear trichomes from cloudy; maybe it's my middle age failing eyesight. But I CAN see the amber ones, so I've been using that; around 10% (to 15-20 for me) to gauge ready-ness. My main 6 plants were all...

    Purple Maroc, FTW

Ah, nothing quite like harvest season. :) Currently vaping fresh finger and scissor hash from the 4th of the 6 main purple maroc's. I don't think I've got the 400 gram monsters I had last year, biggest may be about 200-250 grams, and I had a runt mature (matured too far, actually) first about...

    Speedy flush!? Help

I "water cure" and that helps flush, after the cut. I've found that even a day or 2 in water, changed at least a few times, really speeds up drying and leaves some of the flavor in.

    Top or lst outdoor

On the plants I've flowered early (finishing now), I just LST'd because I didn't want to slow the growth down. On the others, I topped once. Then when the two resulting tops grew out enough, I LST'd them so they were below the branches underneath. When the two branches underneath are about the...

    How in the world....?

Yep, and as deePTokEn indicated, go with mold resistant strains. I really like Purple Maroc for this. It's a popular strain in the rainy UK and for those more Northern. It's finished for me around end of September for the faster purple stem pheno and it seems to resist mold. I do backyard, so...

    Purple Maroc, FTW

...And the 7 vegging Purple Marocs... : The 3 at the bottom have nice purple stems, the 4 at the top do not. There's a bit of leaf curling, so I'll back off on the fertilizers for a while. I use cheap All Purpose powder veg and flower ferts from the hardware store, along with a drop of...

    Purple Maroc, FTW

Spring harvest -> early Summer harvest, but otherwise is going well. :) I tried to start flowering 7 weeks ago (14 weeks after germination) outside, with the sun, and partly dependent on AM house shade for a longer dark period. About 4-5 weeks ago I started putting these first 4 plants in a...

    Purple Maroc, FTW

A simple Google shows plenty, though you might have to weed out the generic references. They've made a name for themselves over several years and Purple Maroc is among their popular genetics I think, as well as other feminized & semi-auto strains. Can I post links to "competitor sites" ? They...

Female Seeds NL for the Purple Maroc and Easy Sativa: http://www.femaleseeds.nl/en/purple-maroc-61.html I've read almost nothing but good stories about them, and these varieties (if you don't need indica couch-lock.) And they are active on the forums which I appreciate. Royal Queen and Unknown...

    Purple Maroc, FTW

I'm trying for a spring harvest with the 1st four, all germinated 7 weeks ago, about March 11. The two on the left are Purple Maroc, the 1st a good deal bigger than the 2nd. The two on the right are Herbies freebies I lost track of; might be any of these: 1 X Royal Queen Royal Cheese Feminised...

    Purple Maroc, FTW

:) Well, in this case the Female Seeds company only recommends against pre-growing indoors. They aren't responsible for what other sites say. And a seedbank saying they're unpredictable indoors may be targeting commercial growers. For commercial you want consistency in flower time, size, etc...

    Purple Maroc, FTW

Nice to know about the cloning and topping. My cloning skills have been VERY bad, despite building bubblers and trying all sorts of things. But I did OK, with 50% success the last time a few years ago. I used 100% vermiculite and I think that REALLY helped. I'm just about ready to top the...

    Purple Maroc, FTW

:) No inside experience with PM, other than starting them indoors 1.5 months before they can stay outside at night. I've read the same thing about PM inside. One seedbanks desription includes "This plant becomes rather an unreliable strain indoors as it is specially bred for outdoor...

Dating website 7orBetter.com helps women find well-endowed men

Does matter or doesn't matter are both myths, LOL. Depends on the woman. On the one hand, all a woman needs is the tip of a little finger, externally. On the other hand, for many members of the so called "fairer" sex, there's nothing quite like poking it as deep as it'll go, within reasonable...

Dating website 7orBetter.com helps women find well-endowed men

Is 7" girth OK, or are they prejudiced to length ? LOL. Seriously, if this is real, it's pretty silly IMO. Everybody lies. And if they don't lie, many would use "machinery" to stretch it into unreal shapes.

    Purple Maroc, FTW

Man, I love these Purple Maroc. :) They germinate MUCH faster than any strain I've ever seen before. 2012 was my first year with PM, and though I messed up somehow, and only ended up with 2, they were big and productive enough to almost be a years worth for my personal use. They were ready...

    Po po stories?

Old thread resurrected, huh ? I've been enjoying these types of threads, although it's adding to my anxiety since I have a grow on. My close calls in Ontario, Canada (lucky I've never been pinched for anything): (1) 15 years ago I got my supply, a quarter to a half a pound at a time from my...

    Getting busted?!?!?!?!

    >Arent seeds legal in Canada Technically still illegal, but nobody has been busted for seeds in a long time, even as blatantly and large scale as Marc Emory. His only mistake was to ship to the US. >if you're too close to a school/church and get busted, the fines are much heavier I don't...

    Yellowing of internal leaves.

It's normal to have lower leaves that get no or little light to yellow and die. If it's the older, lower leaves and there aren't TOO many of them, then no problems. I remove these leaves carefully if I'm concerned about mold. If they are blocking light to greener growth, I always remove them.
