I like your idea of polycarbonate roofing, but isn't that pretty expensive? I went to home depot and that stuff (lexan was the only brand they had) was 63 bucks for a 4x4 sheet, if I remember correctly. that would make the roofing (what, 14x8 total?) ummmm... like 441 dollars or something...

It looked as if my babies (5 to 10 inches tall) were being torn apart, but no leaves actually came off in that minute or two that they were outside. Is this much wind too much? I'm having trouble finding any numbers on the issue...
