Slugs!!!!! So, i just got back from my plot and there was some major slug damage on some of the leaves! Do they eat it, does their slime damage the leaves? How do i keep them away??

Yeah this spot is pretty secluded Spot, Nobody should just stumble upon it. I haven't really had many problems with pests, i actually think the rocks keep slugs from being able to get to the plants! I did notice a few holes in some of the leaves so ive been spraying them with a mix of garlic...
