yehh, I let the layers separate for about an hour. still no good. I cant seem to find clear ammonia in australia, can anyone help?

Yehh, what happens is that when i mix the ammonia, syrup and naptha together and shake it, the layers dont separate because i think the ammonia/syrup/dxm is all mixed and all dissolves into the naptha. its really annoying:/
