@milliardo, your lights appear to be almost 2 feet away, but your buds are pretty big. Have you noticed any difference in bud size with distance? I like to keep my COBs 10 inches from canopy, mainly because of how they were spaced, any higher and the light would be wasted on the tent walls...

i'm using 8 for 3x3 it's actually perfect. colas are almost the size of water bottles on my goji og Do a square pattern with 10 inch spacing. i put 5 plants in that space and the middle one has good sized colas too.

The light you veg them under has a huge impact, what are you using? I use 8 x 3590 cobs in a 3x3 and don't get much stretch and my distance is 6-12 inches. Late into flower i'm able to place it closer without burning. Doubling is normal.

is there a way to arrange into a 4cob bar shape? i want to build some for a 4x4 space, but don't need 16 cobs as it's overkill, and 2 or 3 of the 4 cob units wouldn't fill the space evenly.

can those pin heatsinks handle 3590 run at 60-70 watts? I'm thinking of building a 4 cob bar with silicone lens. I'm guessing I will need the SST140 for this purpose?

what's the benefit of silicone lens and will these fit onto the predilled heatsinks from cutter from the MAU kit? edit: ahah i wrote pre dilled
