I would also like to see a seperate LED forum. It would allow us to do a really good comparison and put it all in one area because at the moment the LED stuff is scattered across the net and a lot of it is superficial. From what i've seen LED's at the moment don't offer great power savings...

Wood has a flashpoint of 300 degrees C so it would be perfectly safe to use as a backing material. The plastic the mylar is backed on would be the worrying issue. I guess i'll just have to experiment :) Thanks.

To be clear i don't mean using it for the walls. Could it be used on a reflector that is hanging close to a sodium lamp? There must bea reason that most conpamies used hammered aluminium in their reflectors.

I was wondering if someone could fill me in regarding sog vs growing to full size. Is there a big difference in yield? How long would it take a full size plant, under ideal conditions to reach maturity? Imagine an area 9 feet by 9 feet, what yield would you expect from both methods? Thanks.
