Depends on where you live. If you live in an appartment building you should probably not be growing. If you live in the ghetto, you should get a machine gun and some babrbed wire electic fencing. If you live in the country and have a grow card you probably dont need anything. Come on now be...
Ok, bigger plants=bigger roots you will need a huge root system to create potent bud. So unless you have unlimited amounts of soil or a swimming pool of hydro dont waste you time.
At 8 weeks you should be done flowering. at two weeks into flowering on a 12/12 you should see some white things on you plant. They look like the pic bellow. If you dont have those at eight weeks look out, you may have some male's. Hopefully you have clones and not seeds.
I want to post a new thread so people will take a look at my old one involving a CFL, LED grow vs. a HPS, MH grow. This experiment was done with a very scientific approach and I believe is the final tell all for this type of growing. Please check it out and let me know what you think.

This is the conclusion to my grow experiment.
the toatal cost breaks down like so.
1 vortex inline tornado=129
2 clip fans................=24
3x48W Large CFL's.....=45
4x45w Led pannel......=140
6x12w Red Filter CFL's=21
6x12w Natural BlueCFL=21

woah virgin dont get to excited or you will blow your load. Plant that midget in a 1 Gal pot now and set it under a red, blue and natural light CFL about 2-4inches away. And watch it like a sea monkey as it reaches for the stars. Expect 1-2 inches of growth per day if you use light nutrients.
they may seem samller in week 4 than week 3 because I cloned the two big ones. The smaller girl fell on the floor after moving into the 5 gallon pot. This was grown using soil only no chems, no nutrients. Soil and water only!
Here it is starting from week 1 to week 4. I will take my week five pics today and post them later. The secret to this sucess is from the spectrum and lumen output from the lights I use. I used two 300watt equivalent (68watt actual) bulbs plus two 100watt equivalent (23watt actual) and 2 t-5's...
I have heard a ton of bad and good things about growing under LED's and CFL lighting systems. I love science and very much wanted to see if I can achieve similar production out of these lights that a HPS and MH system can produce. Before you go and say something stupid like "good luck a hole" or...
