How to relieve saturated/too tightly packed soil?

thanks, I will do that. yeah I never would think to transplant this late, but going 4-5 days without the soil drying whatsoever, I knew something was wrong. and all my other conditions are perfect -- good fert schedule, nice 70 degrees and 55% humidity, under 240w of LED. I figured, fuck it...

How to relieve saturated/too tightly packed soil?

ok, so they are transplanted into better soil (yesterday). Sadly it was a lot of stress/shock on 'em to take the screen off and re-pot. i'm afraid their growth may be stunted, and there's soil that got rubbed onto some of the buds... are they going to come back with a vengeance, or am i screwed...

    8 Plants 1 Pot

whoa, buddy, i think you got some anger issues. and IQ issues. you're growing 8 plants in a picnic basket, balanced on a bunch of books, and I'M dumb? you're laughably stupid, man, and every post just keeps gettin better. i gotta see these plants man because it's gonna make my day seeing that...

dude, you CANNOT stoop... you are already about 10 miles below anyone posting right now. spraying your plants with liquid, last time i checked, doesn't supply them with co2.

    8 Plants 1 Pot

oh yeah... i almost forgot! and since i didn't read pages 15-23, is there anything else i missed? are the plants now in a briefcase?

    8 Plants 1 Pot

no, you should've spent some time researching before just throwing seeds in a picnic basket.

    8 Plants 1 Pot

LOL jesus... so you're pumping co2 (to no benefit) into your bedroom at night while you're asleep? you're the one whose gonna kill yourself!!

    8 Plants 1 Pot

LOL... i didn't know he tried to rig CO2... that is so retardidly hilarious... like the plants could use the CO2 even if it wasn't miles away

    8 Plants 1 Pot

i've already read that thread, actually, it's pretty awesome. but a party cup at least lets the roots breathe, and doesn't promote disease. that is where you have failed. well i'm sorry you don't want me to talk about growing. it's a waste of your precious time. tell me, is that the same...

    8 Plants 1 Pot

i already did, thank you very much. you haven't ever transplanted from a POT, then, because even 5 gallon containers holding 2 foot plants are slammed with roots all the way around. i had a 9 incher once in a 2 gallon and the roots completely filled the container. 1/4 inch below the soil you...

    8 Plants 1 Pot

dude, you are so wrong! obviously you've never grown anything, and i'll save you the research. lateral roots spread out WIDE as far as possible... it is preposterous to say roots grow straight down no wider than the plant. you haven't the slightest clue how to care for your plants.

    8 Plants 1 Pot

hm, i have no clue about that... never heard about it, but it doesn't seem possible. i always read hermie-ing had more to do with light cycles and stress. but it could be true, honestly, growing that many plants close together could cause hundreds of problems. about what i said on root rot...

    8 Plants 1 Pot

agreed, we're all waiting to see if someone is really this stupid. @ tafbang, i said that was BEST CASE you get popcorn... and that's if you're extremely lucky. i'm tellin you man, roots = fruit, and yours sound like they're gonna be really unhappy.

    8 Plants 1 Pot

hey tafbang, WHERE ARE THE PICTURES??? you must be too ashamed of what your grow looks like to post them. from what i've read (pages 1-15 and this page), you have no ability when it comes to growing. to you, logically, plants should go in picnic baskets, as if they're a couple apples, iced tea...

How to relieve saturated/too tightly packed soil?

hey, I've got 5-gallon buckets filled with soil that was not mixed properly (doesn't have perlite or anything for drainage/aeration... stupid, I know, but at the time I was super broke and couldn't get everything). I fear the soil is now saturated, and since they are SCROG-ed, I can't...

    heres a interesting fact

you sure it isn't the ac itself? cause my 6,000 btu blasts hot as hell air out of the back, so your 12k would be double that. do you have the whole ac unit in the grow room or is the back sticking out (like it would in a window)?

Lighthouse Blackstar 240w LED.... Any good?

no, you're wrong... :dunce: a capacitor stores power. it takes the power from the outlet, and stores it till it's full, then releases that electricity at a certain rate. thus, it can put out 240w while drawing less. you're right about power in = power out, you're just not taking into account...

    WTF is this

i think they'll bounce back once the roots poke out. dwcs are great for revival

    WTF is this

here you can see the difference between 5.5 and 6.0 when it comes to nutrient lockout/uptake. but my concern was that acidity can stunt root growth too

    WTF is this

damn, that was all i could think of if you're just watering them with pHed tap water. maybe try a drop of superthrive but i'll bet they'll bounce back, i mean aside from high temps there's really nothing you're doing wrong. maybe at 5.5 your pH is a little low though 5.8-6.2 is the best range
