Early Harvest due to bud rot

Hi there, I'm doing an outdoor grow and the weather has turned, wet, hot and humid. Today i discovered bud rot. I'm about 7 days from harvest on three auto Big Buds. Just want a couple of questions answered'; 1) If I harvest early - any idea how it will affect the potency of the weed (nice big...

    Is this Nutrient Lockout??

I posted this in the outdoors growing section but got no meaningful replies, so i'm hoping for better here. I have got a nice G13 Sour fem who has just started to go into bud after a bout 1 month of veg. She is grown outside from seed in a sub tropical climate with a rough 12/12 lighting of...

Expected Yield for 12/12 from seed in the ground?

I think it also depends on how intense the sunlight is. I'd say that from your OP you're near the equator with the daylight / night hours you gave, which should give some intense light. So hopefully you get a good yield. I'd suggest a plant that has a longer flowering time, so it can catch the...

    Nutrient Deficiency

Yep - good idea - attached picture of offending leaf, plus the main bud coming through - any ideas it seems to be getting worse!

    Nutrient Deficiency

Hey, Currently growing G13 Sour fem and she is doing great. But this morning noticed a few light green patches on some of the main fan leaves. She went into flower about 10 days ago and is flowering at a great speed. My question is this, would these light green patches suggest a nutrient...

Skinny Plants II - The Revival

About 10 days ago i posted on here with some pictures of so rather small and sad looking skinny plants (see the before picture). Sadly, most of the seeds turned out to be male and one just died, leaving me with a single plant left. The good news is that after being moved to a high light...

    Who's Nibblin' My Leaves?

Birds - That looks like bird damage, they usually go for the sweet new leaves and leave the larger leaves on the ground. I've had the same problem. Little fu@#ers. Invest in that green netting or a scarecrow. The birds in my area (UK) that seem to like the leaves are sparrows and / or tits

which seeds to plant outdoors that work the best

Hi Ronnie, From my experience (which is limited) make sure your plants get plenty of light, don't over water and make sure your soil is good. Maybe worth mixing in some bag guano and worm casting to get the soil good before you start. Also depending on how voracious your local varieties are...

    Skinny Plants??

Well, it's been nearly a week and since i repositioned the plants to a new more 'lighty' place - boy they have shown a lot of growth, starting to look more like the plants I was hoping for Height wise they are tiny, but they are starting to bush more. Birds snagged a couple more (little...

    Skinny Plants??

I've decided to leave them in the spot with the highest amount of light for about a week. In retrospect they were in a fairly shady spot when they sprouted and stayed there up until 25 days ago. Hopefully by now they have got over the shock of more light and will start to show a burst in growth...

    Skinny Plants??

Dude that's my thoughts exactly. For a 1 month plants they look so small. I'll leave them out and see. Maybe i'll start the next lot under lights until they get some size.

    Skinny Plants??

Yeah, they only get 7 hours a day direct sunlight, but it is pretty intense sun, for the rest of the day it's slightly shaded as the sun rises in the sky. Along these lines; 6 am sunrise 6:30 - 9:30 sun at the front of house 10:00 - 18:00 full sunlight until sunset Given the orientation of the...

    Skinny Plants??

Hi everyone, Can someone take a look at these pics - I bought a bag of reg Durban Poison and got them started on 7th Jan - It's an outside grow in full equatorial sun (temp 30 - 34C) with about 7 hours of full sunshine. They are in small pots (soil, perlite, with a handful of guano, worm...

    Growing near the equator

I'm starting a new grow in North Malaysia. This is my first real grow outside. My main concern is the light. Being near the equator we get a 12/12 light cycle for most of the year. How will this affect the plant? Will it flower early. Any comments will be very much appreciated as i'm keen to...

    Pablo's Socal Balcony Grow

Thanks for the link and advice. The plants are a definite female as they have shown themseves and in the last few days a couple of wispy white spikes have shown themselves at the base of the stem. Does this mean flowering will start soon. Hope so in on day 39. I'll post a couple of photos when...
