Can you give me reasons why you wouldn't recommend it? If smell is the only concern, I will just unhook it if it becomes a problem. I'm more worried about whether or not it would cause any permanent harm to the A/C system or the grow itself.

I've got a 600cfm Can-Lite carbon filter that will hopefully take care of it!
