weird angular leaf growth... also is this N deficiency?

Honestly I don't use a ppm meter, mainly because I don't have the cash for one haha. But what I do know is that fox farm already has 30 days worth of nutes, keep in mind everytime you transplant you are getting another 30 day supply of nutes along with it. My tap water is around 270 ppm. With...

    Black spots?

Pretty sure you have mites. If you dont have any insecticide then use some sunlight dish soap, a drop in a spray bottle, soak the whole plant under leaves and all. Repeat this every other day. If you dont do anything and this is spider mites, they will spread pretty dam quick. When they spread...

    HELP plz

Well does it look like it is rotting? or does it look like the stem is maturing and maybe browning a bit? Its really hard to tell because the pic is so blurry. You say you have a lot of roots? how do the roots look? are they nice and white? If so, then I would say you are good as long as that...

    Black spots?

Decline of a 3 week year old...

The purple in the stem is from a phosphorus deficiency, usually resulting in a nute lockout which you seemed to figure out why that happened in the first place. As soon as this thing perks back up, I would hit it with some form of phosphorus like blood food. Remember the 3 numbers on ferts...

First Grow... plants drooping, have pics please help!!!

Ya I learned this the hard way. I kept screwing up plants my first grow so much that they ended up like 6'' tall after a month! hahah And this was starting from a clone! I think I had to chop em down and re root like 3 times due to some random screw up. Finally I was like, screw it, these plants...

Looking for some advice.. any idea what's going on with these plants? [pics attached]

I would definitely flush if you have a lockout due to ph fluctuation, then fix the cal/mag deficiency. This is depending on your setup youre using, which im not sure of. Good luck

First Grow... plants drooping, have pics please help!!!

If you transplant these into soil, I dont think I would bury them as deep as having the soil 1'' below the first node. If you did that, then you would have like 5'' of stem under dirt until you actually get to the root. With 5'' of bare stem under the soil, you would probably end up with some...

What in the world happend... Plants went limp on me...

I think you used too much light for the size of the plants. If it happened right after you turned on the other cfl, it was probably too much light. Small plants like these dont hold much moisture and it doesnt take much for the light to dry em up. Are these in any type of medium besides the...

weird angular leaf growth... also is this N deficiency?

Oh and remember that when feeding your plants in fox farm ocean forest, unless you added dolomite lime the ph needs to be somewhere in the 7's. I feed with a ph of 7.5 and my runoff ph is always perfect, between 6.3-6.8 I noticed that without dolomite lime, the soil will drop the ph like a...

weird angular leaf growth... also is this N deficiency?

This looks like a nitrogen overdose and a magnesium deficiency! You need to flush this thing right away and get the ph right. Remember if you overdose with nitrogen or calcium, this can lock out the plants ability to use magnesium. By looking at your plants, it would make perfect sense of a...

    New Growth Yellowing! Need Help

Not sure how old the ocean forest soil is you are using, whether it is a new batch for transplant or what, but it holds nutes pretty well for the first 30 days or so. As for the dolomite lime, a lot of the product I have seen is time released, so it takes time for it to actually get flushed out...

Tips Of Leaves Turning Brown On One Plant.

Brown leaf tips are a trademark sign of nute burn. What medium? what nutes? lights? how old? It also looks like to me that your leaves are a very very dark green/purple color. This might just be a camera trick. But if they really are dark dark green/purple, it may be a phosphate deficiency. It...

    help my clones look unhappy!!!!

The new growth looks like it was a little burnt from being too close to lights??? maybe its just a bad pic and I am seeing it wrong. As far as the other lower leaves, my cuttings do the same thing when they are too bushy. I trim all the larger fan leaves so the cutting can concentrate on rooting...

Signs of Mag Deficiency????? With PICS!!

are these showing slight signs of mag deficiency?? I havent foliar fed yet with this grow so I was thinking about foliar feeding with 1/8 strength nute (miracle grow or floralicious plus) and epsom salt. Is this a good idea or should I just foliar with the epsom salt? I am using fox farm...

Is there a possibility of a mag deficiency? you can see how some of the leaves are a lime green color with darker green veins. I was thinking about doing a light foliar with epsom salts and see what happens. I am using fox farm ocean forest, and have read other threads that this soil lacks mag...
