Are there any DIY fan wiring threads?

I have no electrical experience so how would make the fans work?

I plan on starting a rubbermaid growbox for some seeds that I have started germinating. My question is if i have a small fan inside of it do i need to put fans in the top of the rubbermaid? or do i just need to have an inlet and and outlet hole?

the closet is about 4 feet wide, at about 2 feet deep... what would be some good soil, and a good light to get?

i mean i dont have a limit but i wanna keep it as low as possible

Im looking to grow a plant for personal use. I dont know if I would need more than one plant to have a steady supply, thats why im here. Also I have read alot on here and Im still a little confused as to exactly what i will need. ie Lights. I will be using a small closet that is in my room...
