Aye, You really can't mistake the sex of a plant with some patience ... if you notice "sacks, or balls" ... More than one, its most likely male ... if its a single pear shaped "can be ball lookijng also" ... but only one, be patient ... if its a female she'll begin showing hairs coming out ...

Good idea, prolly would allow more light to those lower nodes .... Problem at this point "7 weeks into flower" that the stem is very thick and just doesn't wanna bend ... unless i mount the entire plant sideways ... so i'll keep that in mind if only 1 or 2 veg into females ... thanks. =] She's...

Greetings, Been awhile since i posted here ... As i posted before on my first attempt i lost 2 outta 3 to males ... the female i nearly lost during the early weeks of december ... Yellow leaves and just real sick looking ... I wasn't sure what to do but decided on giving her some nutes...

I started my first CFL grow, i'm currently 3 weeks into flowering "no recent pics" as i only got one female outta the batch ... but your plants are absolutely awesome to look at, i hope mine looks half that good at harvest ... anymore recent pics? ...

cool deal, i happen to have about 20-30 that are the "tiger shark" type seeds ... my first grow is still going on but i'm gonna be germinating some more real soon as only one hasn't shown signs of sex yet an is the last one standing .... I'll try the tiger striped seeds next an see what happens...

I haven't had any problems germinating bagseed, i just normally keep the largest white seeds and dispose of the brown ones ... Has anyone germinated with good results with the brown seeds, i'll keep um if thats the case ... i just remember being younger and hearing if ya ever grow ... use the...

Allrighty, Something that has been on my mind since growing up around bagweed ... You generally get brown and white seeds, i've allways known the brown to be the males and the whites to be the female ... With that said ... It is no better of a chance to germinate white seeds over brown...

Balls in numbers of atleast 2-4 on each node made obviously believe they were males ... so i destroyed 2 outta the 3 ... the third has pear shaped type with what looks like one hair coming out slowly .... no balls on any nodes so far and as females show late ... i'm hoping its a she.

Didn't manage to get out to the store or look around here for a magnifiying class but after giving it a few more days i ended up yanked 2 outta 3 ... They had shown multiple balls 3-4 each on the nodes from top to about the 3-4 node down .... the one that i didn't trash is showing one pear...

My current setup is a mix of red/blues of CFL's .. 8 to be exact used in a 4 socket vanity with spliters .... These would be excellent in my case to add to the sides along with the CFL ... i would not use these alone regardless of there advertisment of being able to flower alone ... I also grow...

hmm, i'm thinking they could very well be awesome to mount along the walls of those who use tupperware grows for stealth/space restrictions ... i might just give it a try on the next grow ..

allright, i guess this is the part of being new that i get people laughing at me ... but here goes, I can't get those node shots ... i can't figure out the wifes camara for closeup's ... but my largest plant with large stem and tall as hell has atleast 2 balls/pods currently on the top 2-3 nodes...

Allright, i've givin it a few days and here's what i've concluded "without pics still" ... but by giving details hopefully someone can give me atleast a maybe .. lol, ok so here goes ... The largest plant is showing 2 ball/pods about on each of the top 2-3 nodes ... nothing coming out of them...
