Story: I posted about a week ago about how disappointed I was in a sample of an early clipping. I tried the toaster over quick dry method. Placing the fresh clipped bud on a tray and placing it on TOP of the toaster oven...
I am going to cut the lady down tomorrow morning. I understood that the soil should be as dry as possible before harvest to reduce drying time. I was gone this weekend and watered before I left. Checked it out this morning and the soil was completely dry to the point that the leaves had...
I think this new growth what you are seeing is due to a late lst of that top. It was touching the light so I bent it down and within 2 days it had that growth already...but its also covered in crystals.
Thanks for your thoughts...I have decided to wait it out another 5 days or so. I looked at a lot of finished journals and the majority of them have said when you think its about ready let it go 1-2 more weeks.
Also since my camera is shitty and you cant really see the size of the buds...
The two biggest buds are 5-6 inches tall and are 1.5-2 inches wide
The other three buds are about 4 inches tall and are about 1.5 inches wide
Any idea on what I can expect dry weight??
Hey All,
This is my PC Grow. Today is the 8th week of flowering. Between 45-50% of the hairs have turned red or orange. Trichomes are 8% clear, 90% cloudy, 2% amber. The plant should have 2 more tops but during the first week of flower I accidently snapped the main stem in half. Its...
Thanks Mrboots and Dirtfree. Glad to know that I haven't wasted my time. I also thought it was ready to chop based on what I can see. Maybe I'll give her a couple more days, chop, dry, and cure.
Unfortunately my camera is down for the count right now and my cell phone can't zoom worth a shit. So based on the info I have given you...Flowering time, pistil color, trichome color...Do you think I have much longer? Thanks for the quick reply
Hello All,
So my plant is 8 1/2 weeks into flowering, crystals have covered the tops of each bud, and about 60% of the hairs have become orange or red. Also, I used my microscope to check trichomes...5% clear, 90% cloudy, 5% amber. So I thought now would be a good time to clip a sample to...
Would making a cut slightly lower cause the plant to go into shock again? I want to do everything I can to get back what I lost in yield but I don't want my plant to hermie on me...
The only reason I was training during flower is because I am trying 12/12 from seed. It stayed very short and bushy until about day 20 when it showed sex. Then its height became a problem. Thanks for the quick reply
I was doing a little LST when "Crack" I was holding the top 2 inches of the main stem in my hand...
I quickly made a splint and hoped for the best but after a week and all of the leaves had wilted I took apart the splint to find that it did not survive at all! Of course this will affect my...
I understand that there are many other options as far as quality is concerned when choosing nutes. However, I have seen success with Miracle Gro and it is inexpensive. I am currently on week three of flower. Two weeks ago I fucked up and snapped the main stem at the very top completely in...
It works best for me to do it this way because it gets so hot here without air conditioning. Also, I'm not very comfortable leaving my lights on when I'm not at home so I've chosen to run them at night.
Peace
