Hi I was thinking about buying a 400w metal halide grow light and ballast. Im wondering if i can run a Ceramic metal halide bulb on a 400watt metal halide ballast. I see people saying you can use a CMH bulb on a hps ballast but nothing on mh ballast. Thanks for the help guys.

the soil im using has plenty of nutes to go for 3 weeks atleast. But i think it is over watering. thanks for help

Ok well these plants are about 2 weeks old from seed and are under 24 hour flourescents. I water them with spring water every 1-2 days. The soil is all organic and has all the good stuff in it. Temps stay between 70-80F and humidity always below 30%. Any ideas whats going on with these?

Do I need a ballast to run one of these low watt HPS bulbs? or a mogul will work? If no than what is the biggest wattage bulb i can run without a ballast?
