just wondering, can I use non-organic miracle gro if I keep my water above a 7 ph?

I'm gonna have about a 12-15sq ft grow room probably 3 - 3.5 foot tall (semi stealth).

I plan on building a grow box tomorrow about 2' x 2' x 3'. I have 2 100w equiv (so 27w each) and a 75w equiv (19w i think) so all together I have somewhere around 70 actual watts. I plan on starting 2 plants in small pots then picking the better one and growing that.

What size pot would you say is would keep the plant comfortable and is large enough (for all of veg and flower)?

For lets say a CFL grow. Veg/flower mix.

If I cut the ends off the wires of both of these following things and connected the black and red wires and then taped them with electrical tape, would the fan work? Would I disregard the yellow wire?

thanks, about adding lights on the sides, I was reading up about LST and it doesn't seem impossible although I'm not sure if it would be a good idea in my first grow. edit: and plugging the 70 watts of lights + cpu fan can safely be plugged into a normal outlet?

Anything in this design that is definitely a bad idea or what would you recommend me changing about this idea?

thanks, yeah I wasn't sure if that was too big a space or not. I was looking at cpu fans with 4 pin cords like this one and I don't know how I would supply it with power. Is there a certain converter cable...

Before I start my first grow, I was wondering what are some good ways to ventilate the grow box? I've heard of computer fans, but my grow box is probably going to be about 2.5' x 2.5' x 4'. edit: My budget is pretty low at the moment, any DIY advice would be appreciated.

Hi, I was wondering if its possible to use top soil/Miracle Gro/Pete moss for a first grow. The Miracle Gro is not organic. Is there any ratio of these soils that would create a comfortable ph for the plant?

I'm planning on having maybe a 2.5' x 2.5' x 4' grow box (I definitely don't expect/wanna grow a plant that will fit the whole thing though). Right now I only have 2 75 watt equivalent daylight (6500k) CFLS. I suppose I should get more lighting?

What if you picked out all the extended release white tablet things one by one? I'm down to do that as I have Miracle Gro in my garage and don't really wanna spend any money on other soils.

The dullest cheapest lower quality paper produces the most reflection and is the closest to flat white, am I correct? (for grow box covering)
