i keep the lights maybe 5 inches from plant tops. i have a fan blowing on the bulbs too. it keeps the air around plant level cool to touch.

great!!! im in a 2x4 tent. i was attempting to flower in the tent but i could not use my 1000w and control the heat in the tent. so it is now my $200 veg tent. not my preference. how far do you keep your lights from the plants?

hello everyone.....i recently setup a veg area. i got a 4' 4 bulb t5 fixture. pic below. the guy at the hydro store said t5's dont get hot. after having them on for 30 hours now they are hot. i am able to leave my finger on the bulb as long as i want. just wondering if the guy was wrong cause...

ok.... so i planted a couple of seeds and now i have them under my t5's. they have been doing very well up until now. i habve been watering with distiulled water at a ph of 6.3-6.6. twice i had to use tap water with the same ph. on the bottom two leaves there is a rust colored area on leaves...

1000w mh. it is positioned perfectly. i have three new clones, 2 sour d and 1 bubba kush. they seem to be in the beggining stages of a problem too so it has to be the feeding. maybe ph problem or something.

i am using super nutrients svb and sva for veg. 6ml per gallon of water . i add hygrozime 6ml per gallon. 2ml of b vit. 6ml of sweet. my ppm does not go higher than 700.. ph is about 5.6-5.7 i give them bout 3-4 cups of food a day.

i was using 6" rockwool and top feeding. roots exploded out the bottom ands i was having this same issue so i put them in some soil. they started to get better then they took a turn for the worse. what do u mean trace element? temps r perfect. wet roots maybe.

thesde plants are very sick and i do not know what i am doing wrong. the pics below will let you see what i mean. leaves have a papery feel,they are droopy and the new growth is bunching up and very very skinny. any help please

i just got the clones last night. they came to me like that from a friend. also i am not growing hydro. i hand feed these cubes. i am not sure what is considered hydro. my friend told me rockwool is forgiving and easy to manipulate. soil is just too messy and the pots would take up too much...
