For instance, if one vegged a plant for 2 months and then switched to a 12/12 light cycle to flower, one would certainly get more bud than someone who used 12/12 from seed. But would the bud be any better? Besides quantity, are there advantages to vegging for a while?

i try to let it dry out pretty completely before i water again. usually every 3 days

lights are very close. 1-2" away. i understand the burn is probably from the nutrients in the soil. i just don't understand why they're still so damn small! could be genetics, i suppose, they're just bagseeds from a good smoke i had a couple months ago.

i still need to invest in a pH meter but have tested with the little strips and it seems to be in the 7-7.5 range. i'd like to lower it at least a full point if possible.
