I don't see any droppings or parasites eating them. I'm thinking it is a diseased plant? Help would be much appreciated

my chem valley kush outdoor has been thriving but it has some stem problems. There are about 10 spots with decaying strips about 2mm deep, new growth is fine, most damage on lower branches. Anyone seen this before?
