    You can get them at Home Depot or Lowes but sometimes those stores don't have them in 6500K. You can also get them online at 1000bulbs.com. They have a very good variety there.

    yeah, they fit regular sockets. For flowering you will need 2400K CFLs. You might need more lights depending on what strain you are growing. If it's sativa and very lanky then you'll need more lights. You could also try LST to combat this.

    I usually have at least 3 CFLs on the plant, that way you can have one on top and two for the sides. I did this using 3 23w 6500k CFLs and made it through veg with very good results.

    I was thinking about starting off with my usual mix that consists of Pro-mix, perlite (20%), worm castings (20%), dolomite lime (2%), guano (2%) and kelp meal (2%). Would this medium be too hot for sprouts?

    Would this help in any way? So far I have been using straight distilled with FF Grow Big as nutes. I think I might have some magnesium deficiency. I don't have a PPM meter at the moment so I don't know my tap's PPM. I was thinking of just adding like a cup or so of it to my nute solution...
