    Sunlightshed cool cab fixes

The need for oxygen to the roots is imperative. I changed out the airpump provided for a bigger, dual outlet pump. Went to the aquarium store and found 5" airstone disc and put both in the reservoir. Also found reptile warming mats which are the same as germinating mats and can be used for your...

Appreciate it BeachBum. I took Chiceh's advice on heating a heavy duty Xacto knife. Worked pretty well. I made a 5 hole top spaced as far apart from each other as possible without leaving the light range. Would like to have more grow room, but it really gets crowded with 5 healthy plants.

Curious. For those that changed the "grow top" of the reservoir, how did you cut the 3" holes? Tried a blade cutter and I'm lucky I have any fingers left. Presently, I have been covering the excess holes with aluminum foil which keeps the fogger heavy on the roots, but don't like the...

Have completed 2 succesful grows in my Cab despite newbie learning curve. #1 grow was a single female Jack Herrer (for trial) that taught me that there's no way 14 plants would fit. #2 was 5 White Widows that competed for light and space, but was about right (& great quality) with lower stem...

    Gravity / Bushmaster = Roundup

My limited experience using Bush Master in a hydro set up on 2 grows was positive. Plants stayed low and bushy with low height-high yield outcome. I put 1tsp in a 12 gal res during 4 week veg

    white widow too big!!

In my 3 hydroponic grows of different strains, I found Jack Herrer the best low profile. Also used "Bush Master" in veg stage for both Jack & WW. The WW still grows tall, but a bushier plant with more bud opportuities if groomed. Requires less plants in the grow room for spreading.

    Lowryder #2 and White Widow

My limited experience in growing different strains indicates that Jack, WW, AK have very different grow dynamics that would not benefit from growing at the same time. e.g. Jack grows to a lower height then WW and would suffer from lack of light during flowering.
