The panel actually uses a mixture of 3w and 2w led's. Spectra LED panels use twelve true wavelengths two out of the twelve are 2w chips because those two specific wavelengths can not be made in anything higher.

I took clones that have been outside for a month and a week and put them under a 300 watt full 6 spectrum LED light my buddy developed. I cant believe the 7 day difference!!
