Probably the way i am gonna go, just worried about the area around the light, I dont think this stuff was designed to be heat resistant, it would really bum me out to come back to my room to find I have made my own custom smoke machine.

Yah that was my first idea, but isnt that more for reducing vibration and not be overly effective for all around sound? and how is it with heat? any idea on a melting point?

sounds intersesting, considering how small area im working with i think it would take up to much prescious volume, is there any sound deadining material that i could use wich would not react poorly to a little heat?

woops forgot to through that in there, the fans are quite loud, intake and exhaust is completlysealed, still getting alot of noise, looking for a good way to make somewhat soundproof.
