I have always done a week. But attitudes website says " It's suggested to flower (12 hour light) this marijuana variety for 8 weeks, but 10 weeks will really give you the crystals you are after. Try to turn the lights off altogether the final 2 weeks of the flowering cycle- or at least down...

Sorry for the delayed response been busy moving. But yea I was talking about turning the lights off. I don't know why I said "cut the light." I am just starting to get some amber trich's, so i turned the lights off an hour ago.

I plan to cut the lights the last 2 weeks. My trichs are cloudy right now. Will trichs still turn amber will lights out? Hope im making sense. haha

Thanks for the tip on the ceramic heat, I didn't think about that. I am gonna hold off till my next grow since im moving in to a house and will have a different environment
