are peat socks anygood for germinating?? are they the same as jiffy bags?? ive used paper towel method in the past but would rather germ straight into the medium, thanks

hi, im 5 weeks into veg and noticed that my roots were starting to show through the holes at the bottom of my pots:sad: could this be the reason for groth slowing down? if so what next? do they need re-potting into larger pots? they are in 15ltr pots at the mo, thanks

I'm only checking the water not the run off....should i do this?? they seem a little better today already, temps are at 85 and humidity is at 53%, does sound about right?

How important is it to have a PH tester. I have 10 plants in soil they are about 3 weeks old, about 12"s tall and seem in good health. I have not checked the PH since germinating them so was wondering if i will need one for the rest of the time as so far so good without one?? thanx
