I have the same HTG ballast. Does your ballast make a noise and feel warm when using the HPS bulb they supply you with? I've also noticed there's no buzz or heat when using a metal halide bulb.

I have a 400watt Digital ballast that is supposed to be good for hps or metal halide bulbs. The ballast makes noise and is warm to the touch when I'm using a HPS bulb. But when I use a Metal Halide bulb there is no noise at all and the ballast is not hot/warm. Any idea why it runs like this?

I have a question, I just transferred my clones to the veg unit. My PPM is 1750 and the PH is 5.9. I wanted to know if it's normal for the plants to wilt? They have only been in the veg unit for 1hr and there wilting at the top. Waverider

The roots are white. I was reading threw the forum and found a grow setup similar to mine so I kinda followed that water cycle. Seemed to work good for that garden. But I'll be backing the time down to 5min instead of 15.

I got a Digital pH meter yesterday. It's by CWP Instruments model Accurate pH2. I also bought the 4ph and 7ph solution to calibrate it. But the problem is that I can only got it down to 7.10 on point 1 and up to 3.4 on point 2. I followed the instruction...

My planet is getting worse. The top leaves are looking very yellow now, and the bottom ones are way worse. Any suggestions. My temp is 87 during the day, and 75-77 at night. I'm feeding it 4 times a day for 15min a time. :confused:

I just picked up a 2 point ph pen today. I ran into a problem trying to calibrate it. I can calibrate point 1 to read 7.0 But when i try to calibrate point 2 to read 4.0 it will only goto 3.5 I am using calibrating 7.0 and 4.0 solution. Does anyone know how to calibrate point 2 to make it...

I will finally have a ph meter tomorrow, but for now i'm using GH ph test kit.

This is a WW that is 33 days old. Watered 4 times a day for 15min each time. The nutes being used are GH Flora series. The leaves are starting to develop yellowing and spots. Any idea what's causing this? :confused:
