hey, move that 400w closer you'd be surprised how close you can get it, I had mine around 6" away with decent air circulation between the plants and light, and make sure not to over water, if the growth is stunting you could be over watering. You can get some killer plants off a 400w!

IMO 2x600w HPS will beat the 1000w HPS!

Yeah its almost at 4 weeks into flowering. I'm using grotek nutes and a 400w HPS. :blsmoke:
