If you just stick a seed after germinating it in some soil tend it outside and let it do its thing will you yield a good plant?

Well my friends today is the day I first start growning. Well actually it was 2 days ago when I started germinating :). Well Germinating these seeds was wicked easy and now my friends I have just put 6 seeds in dixie cups in some Super Grow potting soil and am ready to get them out in the sun...
