Your plant won't react well to this. It needs the 18 hours straight so it doesnt trigger flowering. Maybe you should just go 12/12 from start if it'll work out better for you. Otherwise you're looking at getting Hermaphradites most likely.

What size pots are you using and how frequently do you water? It sounds like they are suffering slightly from overwatering. Maybe wait a little longer before watering them. If your plants are getting a little droopy and lifeless looking after not being watered for awhile it generally means...

I'm not exactly sure how they classify a "Small amount" of CFL's but supposedly with fewer cfl's the spectrum matters less. I think you could grow under one spectrum, but your results would probably be better utilizing both red/yellow and blue spectrums.. The 6500k (blue spectrum) light is good...

Congratulations on the females man! It looks like everything is going real well too. Hopefully you'll end up with a lot more of them. You could always plant that male outside somewhere in case you decide to pollinate a branch or something.. If not, make sure to get it outta there!

Just go buy two of those self watering bulbs from walmart if you're that worried. I'd say they'll be fine if you give them a good watering before you leave. Plants bounce back from underwatering pretty well, the overwatering is what they don't recover from.
