Probably don't top dress for about 3 months. Definitely top dress before you get any deficiencies...It takes a little while for the nutes to get to the roots. If you're using ocean forest you can go a little easier in the mix, then top dress later. I just go by feel and that's what works for me...

I use gaia green exclusively along with mycos root innoculant. Gaia takes some time to release nutrients slowly. Happy frog is great for seedlings cuz it's not "hot" like ocean forest, although I start seeds in ocean forest and have never burned a seedling. 15 tbsp is not alot and it won't hurt...
