I think this information is false. I cut my nutrients to 1.3 (Plants are 4-6 inches tall) and my PH stabalized. It was going from 5.7 to 8.3 everyday before I cut the nutrients

I got a tip for you...cut the nutrients to 1/3 of the recommended dosage until they are 8-12 inches tall...I had to much nutrients in mine and the lower leaves dried up and died. I went to 1.3 strength and they are growing like...well weeds with no more problems. I also had a PH problem, PH...

What if you just wrapped the copper chiller pipes around your resevoir? That would cool the resevoir without introducing the bad stuff into your water...I live in the deep south and want to build a small 12 X 6 X 8 outdoor greenhouse but grow the stuff hyrdroponically in there...with summer...

Another silly question, how do you regulate the water temp?

OK, I have been told its a magnesium deficiency, I have a good PH meter, what do I need a PPM meter and a TDS meter to measure?

What about my light height? with a 600 watt system for 6 plants, how far over the plants should I be? Its radiating a lot of heat even with a computer fan hooked up...I know, I have to work on the ventilation system

I tried something a little out of the ordinary, I took a magnesium capsule and added it to my resevoir...I wonder what that will do? Its a pill meant for human consumption, if its good enough for me, maybe it will help the plants?

What do the Hydro guys think of going with just 100% water for a day or 2 to clear the system out? with a PH of about 6?

I looked at that and it was no help. The leaves died in a matter of 2-3 days. Started with yellow lines, turned a shade of brown and dried up so I cut them off as I figured they would be using up a lot of the plants energy

OK, so I hooked up the resevoir tank...hopefully that will help to stabalize the system some, at least the PH problem. Any ideas on why the leaves dried up? Light issues? Nutrients too high? BUELLER?
