Bluelab Guardian has been one of the best rdwc investments I've made. Probes are meant to be left in 24/7. It's one of those things that you wonder if you really need it, and then after you get one you wonder why you didn't get one sooner.

Well I decided to pull the trigger on a much larger tent to set up in my spare bedroom. I'm going to get the 4x8 from Gorilla Grow because the height with extension is 7'11" and my ceiling is 8' high. I'm tired of worrying about plants getting too tall. I'll probably only grow 4 or 5 plants but...

Thanks, that's a good idea! Today I mixed the nutes that I use to top off the system with bloom instead of veg. Since I'm topping with about 2 to 3 gallons a day this should gradually raise the bloom % of my 20 gal system gradually each day. Then in a week when I swap out nutes again I'll mix...

Glad you caught it! The same type of things happen to me too. I get so focused on one thing that I tend to overlook something obvious right in front of me.

Day 47 and my 2 CDLC are definitely starting to flower. They're really keeping me busy now with trimming and adding 2 to 3 gallons of nutes to my reservoir everyday. Now I'm wondering when to start changing my nutes from veg to bloom. I think in the past I've switched to soon, any opinions...

Day 47 and these 2 CDLC are totally out of control and over 20 inches tall now I've had to do some serious pruning and trimming top and underneath. I do a little everyday and it doesn't seem to phase them at all. Two square feet per plant isn't anywhere enough room, they really want to spread...

That's really not too bad depending on the time frame.

IMHO these types of systems don't have large enough reservoirs to stabilize pH and EC. You basically have 5 dwc buckets that are connected to each other and 1 of those buckets doesn't have a plant in it.

That's pretty funny. Looking back at just the first three pages, most of the posts were a debate about photos v autos and had nothing to do with Mephisto.

I'm really loving these Mephisto CDLC. I got them off to a slow start but once the roots hit the water the growth has been phenomenal! Day 39 and they've just started to flower.

Well it's a week later and they just started to show some signs of pre-flower this morning. Day 32 Day 39 I'm really digging these Mephisto genetics! I've never had two plants grow this evenly and fast.
