Choosing the best light for flower

Very very cool, yea I think my mind is made up. I'm really not going to stress over the couple hundred in a big purchase like this. Especially wen that brings me superior performance (even if it is slight over the other top lights) and great customer service and piece of mind with the warranty.

Choosing the best light for flower

Thank u guys a ton for ur input! I'll go back and look at some of these lights more in depth. And I couldn't agree more, really good customer service is hard to come by and u can't really put a price on it. And it seems like theyre going above and beyond good. I'll take everything into account...

Choosing the best light for flower

Yea that roi e720 looks like it has some great specs for a couple hundred cheaper than the expensive hlgs. But why? Where is that difference coming from in price? I don't mind paying the extra for an hlg, I do mind paying extra if I can pay 300 less for an equivalent light

Choosing the best light for flower

What makes it better tho? I'm generally curious if u know. Because I really would like to get the better product if it's going to produce better product yk. But if I can save some money AND produce the same if not slightly worse stuff then I'm not sweating it. But maybe my focus should be...

Choosing the best light for flower

I'm not really sure what I'm paying for when choosing between different lights. I have my eyes on hlg because I have heard great things about them. But then i look at something like an ilimuminar, now I haven't heard anything about them. But the specs are similar. 2.8 efficiency, wavelengths...

    Drip irrigation help

Yea there totally is, it's hard to explain. It's not leaking from the bottom side. I put the bulk head thru the hole in the tray, in between the bulkhead and the tray there is a washer. Still on top of the tray but on the underside of the bulkhead. It's leaking from the top of the bulkhead right...

This is the bulkhead the green fitting is screwed in to. It's not leaking below, but up top into my tray

    Drip irrigation help

This is where it's leaking. I Teflon taped the threads and it doesn't seem to fix it. The green pieces are floraflex fittings. Not sure wat they're called exactly, but I think the problem is with the black bulkhead that it's screwed in to. It has these little ridges that shouldn't even be there...

    Drip irrigation help

This will be my second run with this kind of setup. 4x4 flood tray. 18 drip stakes for 9 plants in 6x6 blocks. Right now I'm running into an issue where one of my pieces isn't sealing properly resulting in a loss of pressure, that pressure is required for the drippers to run. Also causing a...

Rockwool PH and other challenges... Automated Top Feed Drip...Crop Steering

I owe a big thank u to anyone that has given me advice! Day 1 of flower will be tomorrow and the girls look really healthy. They have absolutely taken off since installing the auto water system, even in sub-optimal conditions so I'm even more excited for wen I get my room in check Thank u again!

Rockwool PH and other challenges... Automated Top Feed Drip...Crop Steering

Plants look healthy ish, some minor deficiencies likely caused by pH imbalance in the rockwool. Runoff ppm is 4-500 but the pH is in the high 6s 6.8ish. I'm going to try the obvious and lower my feed pH to about 5.5 and get a couple days of multiple feedings/day to lower that. But if that...

Rockwool PH and other challenges... Automated Top Feed Drip...Crop Steering

So the dryback starts sooner? Or are u still watering after u get runoff?

Rockwool PH and other challenges... Automated Top Feed Drip...Crop Steering

That makes perfect sense. Thank you! Because I figured I would need a daily or semi daily water till runoff to make sure everything is still balanced. That's why I assume getting an automated feed system is super beneficial because right now I'm having to do larger shot sizes less frequently...

Rockwool PH and other challenges... Automated Top Feed Drip...Crop Steering

Okay so I've realized that I do not know shit about shit wen it comes to rockwool but I am sending it anyways. So I have been reading some info that grodan has about their blocks. U know the how-to guides and wat not. I read that the desired water content for vegetative steering is from like...

Rockwool PH and other challenges... Automated Top Feed Drip...Crop Steering

Thank u for all your help..seriously lol. I think for my first rockwool grow I'm going to try to follow "conventional" steering methods but without an auto feed system it might be more difficult, so I may resort to feeding till runoff everytime it needs it. Who knows, I'll experiment a little.
