I had one to test a couple years ago. Those things can be dangerous, if your voltage is too high the damn thing will literally blind you.

The tech difference between HID and LED is really a moot point. The true distinction comes in the ballast. Both HID and LED can be significantly overdriven with diy modifications. Further with the proper ballast set up the power consumption on both is negligible . So realistically it is all...
