I also use well pond water. I have a Koi pond they get the best balanced diet I can find. But i frequently use water from there especially in grow. Just do it cause I like you thought it was a good idea. No problems great green:) Good luck!

Used a 8 or 10 footer worked great cause i only had one light and a long hydro run. Now in a 3.5ft by 4.5 ft space so no need but it did make a difference. Good luck to you! btw put padding under rail cause electric motor makes some noise while moving.
