Sounds fine. I would go bigger. You will wish you did later when space becomes a premium.

Composite would definitely be better. I figured I could replace these every couple of years. We get lots of snow and -40F here. I use this to cool year round so the snow always melts around the unit.

This is a massive endeavor. 1. For walls, how about, spray foam, osb, puck board. 2. 3 tons seams light for a sealed room with that many lights. 3. Based on my experience I think you would require 500-600 ppd of dehumidification.

I run 4 lights over a 5x16 table in a very similar setup to yours. Right now I have 210 pints of dehumidification and sometimes it barely keeps up. Shocked me.

I got a sump pump with float valve off amazon that had a garden hose fitting. I then put the sump pump in a big Rubbermaid container. Then garden hose to wherever you want.

Even though people are ragging on you, if you would just take some time (i.e. not be lazy) to answer people's questions they would still give quality advice for the next round. As strange as things look, it seams like you have invested some time in this, why not be successful eventually.
