Maybe it is the nutes? maybe because I add a bit of molasses also? I agree that if you leave water for a day or so the ph does drop..I have noticed that also

Thats what I read when I looked into it. PH should go up with water aerating. Maybe its dropping because I am aerating the nute solution?. I mix it in a pail and then aerate overnight.

Aerating also helps release the chlorine. I have no idea what acid rain effect is?

I suppose its like speeding…cops don’t bother if you’re 5 over but will pull you over if your 20 over. If you have issues with the law then sure it gives them a reason to mess with you, but otherwise they don’t care.

Thanks for you comments. It’s pretty much what I was thinking. Pot growing is so prevalent now in Ontario I’m pretty sure cops don’t care if like you said have 4 in flowering and 4 small clones. Am sure they have bigger fish to fry. As far as getting a licence I have decided against getting...

I also started to air bubble the nute mixture a day before watering to add oxygen to the nutes. I had a old aquarium pump so just set it up with an air stone to bubble up the solution. Hoping this will add O2 to the roots. Didn’t cost me anything so hopefully it helps.

You can download a free app on your phone. I have Photone and it works pretty good. Just make sure you use a defuser per instructions (Piece of paper). Also I have my leds just inches above my plants and leaves have never burned.
