Plants are taking in more water than nutrients after week 3 flower defoliation

Update: Hello everyone. Since this thread is pretty dead and nobody suggested anything to me (lol), I ended up diagnosing the problem myself. I noticed a little bit of nute burn on some leaves so I figured that the issue I was having was probably nutrient lockout or something. I flushed the...

How to find the PPM of each of my individual macro and micro nutrients

In my defense I seriously thought Op was asking a basic question. I didn’t know he wanted to go mad scientist on it. I’m just simple stoned man :blsmoke:

How to find the PPM of each of my individual macro and micro nutrients

Thanks J232! I like that approach. A man of few words and straight to the point. You want info. I give it. :hump:

How to find the PPM of each of my individual macro and micro nutrients

Nice link @J232. Jhef, I’m not sure if you’re new to growing or not but a lot of newbies tend to over complicate things. The N-P-K values in your grow and bloom formula were formulated with the correct values for specific stages of the plant’s life. It’s not really necessary to calculate the...

    Defoliation the first few leafs

I second that. Day 21 (third week) of flower is when you defoliate. Those plants look way too small to be defoliated. They need to be bushy and over flowing with leaves in order to be defoliated. Defoliation opens up areas for light and helps with air flow.

First DWC grow with top feed lines!

Hey man. Any setup will do and it all depends on you as an individual. If you ever watch Mr Canuck’s grow videos on youtube, the man would grow some gnarly stuff out of a 180 watt light setup in his bedroom closet. More importantly, as long as you control temps, air flow, humidity, ph and ppm...

    First grow Seedling day 4

Yeah they look good man but be careful with the nutes. They are very sensitive at the seedling stage and supposedly the cotyledons have all the nutrients that a seedling needs for the first week or 2 of its life. After the seedling grows 4 true leaves, then you can start giving it light nutrients.

    Overwatering?

Leaves look green with no discoloration. Under watering and overwatering both makes the plants droopy but if you know you’re not skipping watering days then most likely it’s caused by overwatering. Back off on the water and they should perk right back up.

Plants are taking in more water than nutrients after week 3 flower defoliation

Hey guys. I have these monster cropped clones in week 4 flowering right now. Ever since I defoliated during the previous week at week 3, they are drinking more water than taking up nutrients. At week 3, my ppm was 1000 ppm and now it’s at around 800 ppm. I haven’t added any bloom nutrients at...
