    Phosphorus, overwatering, or moisture stress?

Bottom leaves curling up and turning patchy brown/blackish before wilting on falling off. Any help would be appreciated!

LED 4x4 vs 5x5 yield question

Hello all, If I run the Mars Hydro FC-E6500 in a 4x4 or 5x5 will their be a difference in yield? I am not sure if the larger space would see an increase in yield due to more plants but less light per plant or if the smaller space would yield more with less plants but more light per plant. One...

    Is this a phosphorus deficiency?

Hell all, Using megacrop 1-part nutrients in an octopot. PH is 6.0 and PPM is 960. Using CO2 that gradually have increased to 1300ppm. Temp is 90 degree with surface leaf temp at 86.7f and humidity at 58 for proper VPD of 1.2 I had no deficiencies until flipping to flower and based on my...

    Does manifold/mainlining require different lighting?

Hello RIU, Due to the structure of manifolding/mainlining per Nebula's guide, does it require any different type of light setup to optimize the results? I currently scrog and aim for a flat canopy and lollipop, top, etc. and as a result even light distribution (typically LED) is required for...

... another high yield thread blah blah blah

Quick question... all these sites list yields as gr/m2 or oz per 3z3 ft etc. Would imagine most of it is either BS or under their own optimal conditions. Although, I do grow hydroponically and can supplement Co2 with heigh ceilings. Some strains I have been looking at are the following. Money...

No idea what this is... Potassium issue?

This is my second grow and did not run into this the first run (Was lemon cookie and this one is blue cookie) and need help figuring it out. Was on vacation for a week and had the reservoir filled with 60 gallons of nutrient solution (Floraflex B1 + B2 and Bulky B) with an EC of about 2.6 as...

What yields more? Penetration vs Coverage

If I have the ceiling height than is it better for yields to get a powerful HPS or COB led, or Blackdog type LED and penetrate deep into the canopy and grow taller plants or still go wide with the QB or bar style lights and grow wider but shallower plants??? (aka scrog, lollipopping, etc.) Thanks!

Training clones... what should I do here?

Got these clones from a friend and they are almost 2 ft tall with no training done to them yet. He didn't want to risk anything. Obviously left alone I will get Christmas trees and lower yield. Mind you I will veg these for an additional two weeks before flipping so need to get them bush style...

Power went out while drying harvest

Power went out and has been out for 2 days now. They are in a sealed dark room and temp is 73 with humidity also around 73. I go in there and it doesn't feel hot or humid. Colder if anything. I have a gas generator and could run the dehu but that will raise the temp and lower the humidity...

Clones: Mainlining vs Scrog vs Monstercropping?

Hello all, I know techniques can be combined but they all add veg time and I am doing a perpetual grow. I have read articles the mainlining will obviously add veg time and be a little trickier to work with clones on but the advantage is canopy management via the mainline itself therefore...

    Deleafing (defoliating) at harvest

For the dry trimmers out there wanted to get your all's input about deleafing at harvest. Do you cut your plants down and hang'em THAN deleaf right than and there? (Could also deleaf before hanging as-well) Do you cut your plants down and hang'em THAN deleaf after they have dried? Do you cut...

Comparison of Bennie Products... see attached

Hello, Just wanted to attach pictures of my file (hopefully you can see it) for comparisons of all the different bennie products out there and there cfu/spore counts. Now, take into mind that more strains are not always better and that Bacillus amyloliquefaciens or Trichoderma harzianum are...

    What water reservoir you use?

Just got my Octopot system and I need to supply my own reservoir. Was looking at drums, totes, collapsible reservoirs, etc. and am leaning towards a heavy duty black tote that I will paint white on the outside. This is to maintain temps and help prevent algae growth. Before I make the purchase...

Help preventing algae in sitting rez

Just purchased the 3 gallon octopot system for 12 plants. Need to buy my own rez. This rez will sit with nutrients for days at a time maybe even a week and I am concerned about algae growth, etc. It will be a 55-gallon or 60-gallon rez. I have read that rez color helps such as black allows less...

    Harvesting soon... trimmer help

I am looking at trimmers such as the ipower bowl trimmer, risentek x-1 machine trimmer, magic trimmer, etc. Have quite a lot to trim and should be roughly 10lbs dry so do not want to manually trim this. For all the folks out there not manually trimming what do you use and like? What are you...

    Perpetual DWC?

Hello, Looking to DIY a DWC or RDWC setup and am curious on how "transplanting" works in a DWC setup between different rooms. Seed/clone chamber, Veg room, flower room. Simple idea is to have veg plants ready to go into the flower room every time a harvest occurs. This will be every 8 weeks for...

What might this be? Pics attached

Almost day 21 of flower. Yellowing leaves started more at the bottom and are now getting more to the top. They are also easy to pluck off and if left will wilt and fall off themselves. I would say that roughly 1/5 of the leaves are now yellow. The ph of the soul pot is roughly 6.4. I use...
