Well i've seen a bunch of hydroponic setups that use fishtank water since it's always in motion and there's almost always a bubbler to provide oxygen for the fish, then the fish waste makes nitrates that feed the plants and so on... I tested the ppm of the fish water and it was around the 300s...

Would it benefit from a flush? Or just giving it water when it's not moist? Also is distilled water better under the circumstances?
