My water is 8.0pH, mixed in my MaxiGro nutrients, pH dropped to 4.3, waited few hours and still 4.3. Used a bunch of pH UP buffer to get 5.8-6.0 range, but 3 days later the pH spiked to 7.2 After a lot of fiddling and trying different things it turns out MaxiGro takes a lonnnng ass time...

Normally I dilute Southern AG down to 1:20 water ratio then use 1ml per 4L. However, I read you can't add too much beneficial bacteria so I added 10x of my usual amount. The next day my airstones are covered in clear slime.
